Job Description: 

Gas Pipeline Project Engineer / Manager

Houston, Texas

DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a Project Engineer / Manager who will:

• Oversee design and installation of onshore natural gas gathering and transmission pipelines, compressor stations, measurement equipment, control valves, pigging facilities, amine treatment facilities, separators, dehydrators, and processing plants
• Manage large projects which include project scoping, cost estimating, scheduling and planning, cost monitoring and progress reporting.
• Preparation of RFPs, bid documents, and construction contracts
• Oversee development of project drawings
• Contract administration and invoicing.
• Pipeline Integrity Assessments
• Pipeline Encroachments
• Support operation and maintenance personnel
• Perform horsepower efficiency studies.
• Identify ways to reduce LUFG and fuel costs.
• Manage Preparation of Risk Management Prevention Plans.
• Manage Preparation of Emergency Response Plans.
• Manage Preparation of SPCC plans.
• Manage Preparation of Storm water Pollution Prevention Plans.
• Manage Preparation of Air Permits.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and RRC regulations

Desired Skills: 

BACKGROUND:

The ideal candidate will have:

• B.S. in Mechanical, Natural Gas, or Petroleum Engineering
• Professional Training / Experience in: Project Management; ASME B31.8 Transmission and Distribution Piping; DOT Part 192
• Computer Experience with: Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, sizing programs for compressors, pumps, relief valves, separators, control valves, and measurement equipment.
