RESERVOIR ENGINEER
Direct, staff position in Dallas, TX – Minimal travel required
COMPANY INFORMATION:
Private Independent E&P Company engaged in on shore low risk acquisitions is seeking an engineer to build the production side of their business.

DAY to DAY JOB RESPONSIBILITES: Perform independent Reservoir Engineering work to contribute to the overall growth of the company through evaluations and recommendations on acquisition and development of prospects, production, completions and inventory down spacing.
• Make recommendations and management presentations on wells and prospects
• Perform Reservoir Engineering work using Aries and Power Tools
• Conduct well analysis, and create economic cases for decision on prospects and leases.
• Perform Due Diligence studies in “Data Room” environments to provide risking to upper management for the decision process
• Use Microsoft Excel to perform modeling
Desired Skills:
IDEAL SKILL SET: We need a team player with the humility to share credit for success across the group and the confidence to present the value of an acquisition to the CEO.
• 10+ years experience as a reservoir engineer in a classical application of the profession
• Knowledge and experience with Aries, Power Tools or any other typical analysis software
• Proven experience in making recommendations to management for acquisitions and well development
• Experience in completions and production
• Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering
• Experience at a larger E&P is no necessarily a good thing here. This is a small group and they want someone who is nimble and able to make a decision with limited supervision.
